IS YOUR BUSINESS BUILT FOR CHANGE?
Getting a small business up and running is hard enough, but thinking about re-inventing the business every 3 to 4 years is the last thing small business owners want to hear about.
Let’s step back and think about a few of the changes in our world today that I believe will require you to re-invent your business.
- Artificial intelligence
- Virtual reality
- Self-driving cars
- 3-D printing
- Meatless meats
- The Internet of Things
- Augmented Reality
- Robots
- Amazon
- Smart Phones
As small business owners you have unique advantages over a large business. You are more agile and can adapt faster. You also have a disadvantage, large businesses have departments that focus on change while small business don’t have the resources or knowledge to know what new technologies are coming and how to adapt them to their business.
At this time, to the best of my knowledge, there is not a central information center in which you can type in your industry and get a list of coming changes that will allow you to re-invent your business. In order to lead change you have to know about it first. For the time being, the best solution is for you to google my list and see what you can learn.
At BizQuack we are working on creating a “Biz Change” button on our dashboard which will introduce new innovations, as we find them. Included will be on-line information sources as well as articles by those involved in the creation of new technologies. Our hope is to bring education to our membership that will share information as new technologies are being developed.
We need your support by helping us grow our membership base to offer more of these unique services.
