MOBILE APPS FOR SMALL BUSINESS
Mobile Apps: Another way to reach your prospects and customers
Mobile apps are here to stay. Every small business should consider adding this marketing tool. The average US person spends over three hours on the mobile phone daily. I think that they spend more time on their phone then on a PC.
A mobile app offers increased visibility to clients at all times. It provides a way to update your clients and prospects thus providing them additional value. An app also is an easy way for a client or prospect to reach you.
Branding is a goal of all small businesses and, having an attractive app which involves your clients/ prospects on a regular basis will enhance your brand more than a lot of other options.
Since apps for small businesses are still relatively rare, you have an opportunity to stand out from the crowd. In the past, mobile apps were reserved for large corporations and businesses, but now they are becoming a viable marketing and communications tool for small businesses.
In today’s market, your Website and Mobile app complement each other. A website needs clients to open a browser and enter the website URL. On the other hand, all a mobile app needs is a single touch on the screen of a smart device.
The design, content and functionality of an app require a lot of thought. It has to provide the information that your client or prospect wants and has to be updated continuously to ensure a return to your app.
Consider your app as a personal outreach to your clients and prospects. Take the time to research what is currently available. I believe that prices for app development will be dropping.
As always, you should be a leader in your industry, not a follower.
