THE SECRET TO EXTRAORDINARY SUCCESS
Extraordinary success is not achieved as a result of your business plan, or an expensive “How To Become A Millionaire” seminar. Neither goal setting nor time management are the answer.
Two things form the basis for extraordinary success, HARD WORK and AN UNLIMITED VISION.
Hard work means that you are working ten or twenty times harder than your competition. It means that when the 5 O’clock cocktail hour starts, you are still working. Hard work means that you are compulsive about achieving your vision and extraordinary success. In past blogs I have shared my views as to why business owners as well as all people don’t achieve their desired results in business or in life. My conclusion is “People don’t achieve extraordinary success in business or in life because they don’t do what they know they should do.”
Extraordinary success is only achieved when:
- The vision is unlimited but subject to adjustments, not to lower expectations but to reach even higher.
- The desire to achieve that vision is the main driving force in your life.
- The action, the resources and the energy required to achieve the vision are understood and a commitment is made.
- You know that there will be many challenges along the way.
- You are not expecting a “get rich quick” solution.
Success should not be defined by what our parents told us, or by what a friend or business acquaintance has achieved. That is why BizQuack has offered the Unlimited Vision Setting exercise in our education section. Our quest to achieve extraordinary success in all aspects of our lives requires ongoing action.
The Accountability Tracker is one of the most useful tools that BizQuack offers to help reach your vision. Yes, it requires discipline to set daily and weekly actions that will take you closer to your vision, but extraordinary success will only happen if you do more than anyone else is willing to do.
A culture of discipline is not a principle of business, it is a principle of greatness. James C. Collins
