TC: IMPLEMENTING CHANGE
TAKE THE CHALLENGE!
It is so easy to get comfortable in our daily business routines. Change is often avoided because it makes us uncomfortable. Change can be something as simple as taking a different route to work or to a place that you frequently visit. Such a change will help you become aware of happenings in these areas, new buildings, new stores, etc.
There is another saying, “Don’t fix it if it isn’t broke.” By not changing the way you are doing things within your business, you will never know if there isn’t a more efficient way or a less expensive way of doing the same thing.
Your challenge for this week is to step back and take a look at all the systems, internal and external (including marketing), that have not changed in the last 12 months. Now pick one and create an outline of how this task can be accomplished in a different way. You are looking for increased efficiency, or a more effective marketing approach. The goal is always to make changes that will give you more time and increase your bottom line.
Sometimes you have to force change in your business.
If you make it a habit to review your entire operation at least once a year to determine if any part of it can be improved by making a change, you will be leading change instead of following it.
