THE IMPORTANCE OF HAVING A VISION
For the past year I have been stressing the importance of having a vision for your business. It is only in our vision that we are able to see ourselves differently, free of our limitations and failures, able to be more than we currently are.©
Your vision should be the driving force for everything you do. It has to be embedded in your mind and must shine through in every aspect of your business. It should be visible so that you can see it all the time and also visible to your customers and prospects. As you grow and add staff, your vision becomes the basis for your recruiting policy.
Your vision will:
- Increase your motivation
- Help you select the right growth path
- Guide your marketing platform
- Help you identify work priorities
- Help form your story:
o For getting new customers
o For obtaining financial backing when needed
o For customer retention
And most important, your VISION will help you achieve profitability and sustainability. With a clear vision you can identify your WHY and then write your STORY. From there you can form your VALUE PROPOSITION and follow that with your PROMISE to your customers/prospects and find the best way to DELIVER that promise.
