A GREAT BROCHURE

I attended a marketing session this morning; it was well organized, and I walked out with 22 business cards. Each person gave a 60 second presentation on their business, but I left not really knowing exactly what they do and what their value proposition is.
Not one person mentioned why they are different than anyone else in their same field. Yes, your business card is important as well as your one minute presentation, but don’t expect your audience to remember the important details about you. Not one person gave me a compelling reason to call them so I could learn more about their business.
I am always on the lookout for strategic alliance partners. Growing my business by connecting with others that offer products and services that my target market uses is a very important part of my overall marketing plan.
Don’t create a brochure on your own. Don’t print your brochure on your printer. Perhaps even more important than your business card, your brochure represents you and your firm and its content and look tell others what they can expect from you.
I am encouraging you to use other members of our BizQuack Community to help you. Jen Kelly of J Dot Creative and Ramona of Color Copies Phoenix, are your “go to” members for this important marketing piece.
Don’t procrastinate in developing your brochure. This marketing piece may not be for everyone that you meet, but those who fall within your target market or are in a position to refer others should definitely receive a brochure.
