TC: BREAKING WITH THE PAST
What are the mainstays of your business? And what needs to change?
For the past several years BizQuack has been using this statement: The only constant is change. To quote from the book Break-Point and Beyond:
“Today’s change is not just more rapid, more complex, more turbulent, and more unpredictable. The surprising fact is that change itself has changed! The process of change has moved away from its well-marked channels and into uncharted waters.”
That brings us back to today’s challenge: Step back and take a look at your business. Are you still applying age-old methods and solutions as you work to grow your business? The following are several areas to examine:
- Are you leading change in your industry?
- Are you offering new and better services or products?
- Are you delivering them in a different way?
- Does your Value Proposition include these changes?
- Are you staying up to date on the impact of Artificial Intelligence and Virtually Realty may have on your industry?
There is one constant today and that is a growing need to make deep and powerful connections with your mentors, peers and support group as well as with your current and future customers. It may seem that making “Human Touch Connections” is a way of the past, but I predict that it will be one of the most powerful assets you can have as a business owner.
THE CHALLENGE
Your ongoing challenge is to make sure that you are aware of the coming changes and be the leader in your industry. The second part is to make sure that you have the necessary deep and powerful human connections that you will need to maximize your growth.
Both of these challenges require a “reach out” on your part. First the educational process of staying ahead of the market and second, taking the time to solidify your carefully selected connections.
