FORGET THE “MARKET”
In the last few days the “Market” has been acting like a yo-yo. It has become the main topic of conversation on the news, talk shows, and just about everywhere else. Doom and gloom forecasts are popular. I believe that is because so many people want to see others fail.
As a small business owner my recommendation is not to pay any attention to the “Market”. Concentrate on your target market and maintain an upbeat attitude. Focus your attention on something that you control and in which you can make a difference.
Tune out the ever-changing news and focus on your plan.
Don’t pull back your marketing efforts. In fact, increase your marketing because when others are pulling back you can make positive strides.
The moment you start concerning yourself about what others are doing and let up on what you should be doing, things will start going downhill.
I truly believe that 2019 can be one of the best years for small business owners that are willing to work hard and believe in their own ability to control their own destiny.
