HOW’S YOUR DATABASE LOOKING?
I presented a session on Data Base Management last evening. In attendance were three of our BizQuack Community members. I asked a generic question to start the session: “How many of you have an efficient data base management system?” With the exception of two people the rest of the group did not have a data base management system.
This session will be posted in the BizQuack education section in the near future. (For those of you that did not attend our session on Target Marketing two weeks ago, it is available under marketing now.)
Your challenge this week is to go to the marketing section and review the target marketing presentation. Next, I want you to start the data base building process by making a list of your following contacts:
웃 Current & Past customers
웃 Friends & relatives
웃 Potential Customers
웃 Referral sources.
Do not add people to any of these lists if they don’t know who you are. In other words, if I were to call someone on that list, they would know your name and what you do. The information you need with each name is the following: name, business affiliation, e-mail address and phone number.
Once you have completed this list, go to the Marketing Section and review the Data Base Management session (should be posted in the next two week) and follow the instructions.
I promise that this will become your primary source of new business, repeat business and referrals.
