I DARE YOU
I have a personal library of over 300 books. One of the oldest and perhaps one of my favorite books was published in 1976 and contains the philosophy of William H. Danforth. He passed away in 1955 and was the founder of the Ralston Purina Company. The book was published by family and friends.
This book, entitled I Dare You, contains his philosophy on helping other people achieve their full potential. He wrote down his thoughts and shared them with his family, business acquaintances and his employees.
The following is a list of the “Dares” contained in this great little book.
- I dare you to be bigger than you are.
- I dare you to adventure.
- I dare you to do things.
- I dare you to be strong.
- I dare you to think creatively.
- I dare you to develop a magnetic personality
- I dare you to build character
- I dare you to share
- I dare you to launch out into the deep.
This short, easy to read book was compiled over 100 years ago, yet, many of his philosophies are just as important to us today as they were then. It is available on Amazon and it should be a part of your own business collection.
While I did not go into detail on each of the dares, they reinforce many of the blogs that can be found in the BizQuack archives. Do yourself a favor and add this book to your collection and take the time to read it from cover to cover.
Dare to be your amazing self! Don’t let anything stand in your way! BizQuack
