TAKE STEPS TO SUCCEED
As a consultant I ask my clients what their most pressing issue is with their business. The relationship between me and a client is one of confidentiality, integrity and objectivity. There are a total of 7 principals that I am bound to as a Certified Financial Planner; the other four are competence, fairness, professionalism and diligence. The reason I share these with you is because I ask personal questions about things that affect your business and I need honest answers in order to do my job. I value my code of ethics and will never divulge your personal information to anyone else.
Back to my initial questions; the pressing issue can be one of education, complete foundation building or the development of a business plan. The direction I take as we start the process is dependent on your answer.
As an example, if your primary concern is making your rent payment or meeting payroll next month, my approach will certainly take a different look than I would take with a company that is very solvent and wants to take the business to the next level.
My passion is to help small businesses including startups to achieve profitability and sustainability. One of the most pressing issues that I observe, but is seldom shared is the urgency to be successful. The adrenaline is flowing and the thought of getting paid for a product or service sometimes becomes the driving factor for a new business as well as for many existing businesses.
The foundation building process that is part of BizQuack is there for a reason. Start by printing and reading the tutorial found in the “Maximize your Membership” tab. Make it a habit to start each day on your dashboard, read some blogs and explore the education section. Everyone should be working on their Pitch Deck, their business plan as well as their Tuesday Challenges.
As members, you can reach me via Ask the Duck and by e-mail at nick@strategicduck.com. For those in the metro Phoenix area we offer opportunities to participate in small group sessions as well as live educational session. These are extra opoporoutntites for you, take advantage of them.
Building a successful business can be expedited by putting in more time with the BizQuack process. It cannot be expedited unless you have the focus and your vision in your head and heart.
