TC: A PLAN WITH CONSISTENCY & DETERMINATION
Having a goal in your mind only is worthless. A written goal is only a little better unless an action plan is developed. An action plan without time lines and accountability is still not good enough.
A goal has to have the following attributes in order to be reached:
- Has to be in writing
- Has to have an action plan
- Has to have a step by step time line
- Small steps that are taken are recognized as achievements
- There has to be an accountability partner
- The goal has to have a stretch factor but must be realistic and achievable
- Determination not to ever give up
- A commitment to work as hard as it takes to reach the goal.
With these requirements your challenge for this week is to practice reaching a goal. Achieving success is a great motivator to continue and for this challenge select a small goal that can be reached in less than a month.
Follow the steps as outlined above.
Use the accountability tracker for this exercise; it will help you develop a very powerful habit.
The hardest part of this challenge is for you to be willing to take it on. If you chose not to undertake this exercise today, you are procrastinating. Procrastination leads to more business failures than almost any other cause.
BizQuack is always ready to become an accountability partner. The ball is in your court as is your success.
