TC: IMPRESSIVE
During the last few months of the COVID-19 pandemic we have been bombarded with bad news, including high unemployment, small businesses closing and this past week we have added another issue, that of riots in the streets of America.
Small business success is a result not only of the actions we take, but also the positive vibes that our minds put out. It may be hard to keep an upbeat mindset when you are bombarded with negative news all day long.
A few days ago, I was visiting with a good friend, and he shared that he stopped watching the news in his home some time ago. He works on his home-based business and spends time with family and is not bothered by the “outside noise” which tends to suppress innovation. Although l have not totally stopped watching the news, I try to max out at 30 minutes per day.
What is impressive are the businesses that have grown in the last few months. No-one told them not to grow so they adjusted their plans and pressed forward with “high growth” plans. In their extremely competitive markets, they are introducing new methods of creating positive customer experiences. By understanding the new pains that are being felt by their customers, they are providing services and products that are in demand.
Our BizQuack members that have committed to working hard and are willing to explore new opportunities are, in my opinion on their way to experiencing an increased bottom line and an overall business expansion. A few of the accomplishment include:
- Better and more effective data base management, including its ongoing expansion.
- Embracing online marketing and the many innovations that have come about.
- Forming strategic alliances.
- Adding paid staff.
- Moving from a home office to a store front.
- Working on “Get Seen & Heard” promotions.
These are but a few of the accomplishment that our members have made. The one thing that they all have in common is a willingness to ask for help and to share with BizQuack their progress on a weekly basis.
Your challenge: there is still time to take your business to the next level. There is no such statement as “It can’t be done:” What I want to hear is “This is how it can be done.” Make your move now!
