Marketing, broken down to its simplest form, has three parts:
- It first involves finding the right prospective clients for your specific capabilities.
- Second, it involves reaching the market as efficiently as possible and communicating the value of your services/products to it.
- Finally, marketing requires delivering and promoting your service/product uniquely – with your own special flair – because standing out in the crown isn’t only fun, it’s an essential ingredient of success.
Marketing is an ongoing process, a process that many of us lose sight of as we get busy with client fulfillment. It takes time and commitment to implement and maintain a marketing program in both good times and bad.
