5 REASONS NOW IS THE BEST TIME
TAKE ADVANTAGE OF SUMMER!
Summer Time! School is out; the push is on to take a family vacation. The kids take up a lot more of your time all summer long. Somewhere back in time small business owners, as well as some large ones, started expecting the summer months to be slow. By their actions their predication came true.
Holidays occur year round but Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day have become blurred into one long work slowdown. This creates a great opportunity for those that want to take advantage of the “slowdown” and grow their business. The “Lazy Days of Summer” need to change to “The “Busy days of Summer”.
Let’s examine my five reasons why this is a great time to profit:
- You have momentum. If you have been pushing hard the first five months of the year, now is the time to kick your marketing efforts into high gear.
- Your competition is slowing down; your increased marketing efforts will get you noticed.
- Your target market is also slowing down; this gives you an opportunity to spend more time with them sharing your story and benefits.
- This is a good time to get your target market and customers some help with their own businesses. Don’t visit with them to sell your product/service, but to offer a support for overcoming their biggest problem.
- This is the time of the year to implement a joint marketing session with quality strategic alliances. Form a group of 3 to 5 strategic alliances (business owners that sell to your target market).
Believe in yourself and your ability to grow and create a “disruption” from the expected status quo. These five points will help you to not only have a profitable summer, but will put you on a fast track for the rest of the year.
