A PRECIOUS COMMODITY
There are two what I consider precious commodities; one is human touch and the other is time.
For years I have always made it a point to have all my client meetings face-to face. The telephone and e-mail were used only to set up a meeting. Time has a way of changing things. One significant change has been the population growth of the Phoenix metropolitan area. Traffic is becoming an issue as it now takes twice as long to travel a given distance as it did 5 years ago. In order for me to become more efficient I try to schedule as many client meetings as possible in my office.
Even with clients in the metro phoenix area, it may take me over an hour to travel to their offices or for them to come to mine. I also have been blessed with out of state clients, and I wanted our communications system to still have the” human touch feel”.
My best solution to date has been the use of ZOOM. You can access this service at www.zoom.com and learn about their programs. The basic program is very effective and it is free. It has many features which allow you to personalize your conversation to fit your style. It’s very easy to use; and the picture and sound quality are very good.
There are many ways to use this as a relationship building tool. If you can schedule your customer and client talks so that you can have a face-to face-meeting on Zoom, you will find that both the relationship and trust factors are greatly increased.
Shortly, BizQuack will be using this feature to hold meetings on specific topics with interested members. It will allow us all to see each other as we share our thoughts.
I encourage you to sign up with Zoom and send me an invite to have a conversation!
