FORGET ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS
It is easy to become so immersed in your business that it takes over all of your thinking process.
Your challenge today is to take a step back and write down all the gifts/ benefits you have received both in your personal life as well as your business life. Think about where you live, that you own a car, you have a family, and you have an opportunity to work in your own business and that you have the ability to define your vision and, with a lot of hard work, make it a reality.
Now start a list of people that don’t have the same gifts/benefits that you have. Think about the homeless veterans, and people with mental illnesses that sleep in the streets. Yes, you may not see them in your neighborhood, but there are hundreds of families with small children that live in their cars.
Many children go to bed hungry and have to rely on their only meal being served at a school. Spend a day at St .Vincent De Paul working in their kitchen and serving those less fortunate. Do not just serve them, listen to their stories.
I believe that every single person should be involved in some way with someone that needs a “hand up”.
The rest of your challenge is to select someone in need, a charity, or any other person or group of people that don’t have the blessings and opportunities that were given to you. Make a commitment to adopt them and to make them the official beneficiary either of your time or your money or both. Don’t brag about what you are doing, let your actions speak for you.
