TC: BE ON THE LOOKOUT
Within the next 30 days, an opportunity will arise which can change your world. No, you do not know about it, nor can you see it, but it will appear.
Write a note, Be on the Lookout, and attach it to your bathroom mirror. This will remind you that you should be aware of what is going on around you. Study your environment, family, community, nation, your prospects, and customers as well as trends in your business.
The old saying, “Stop and Smell the Flowers”, also pertains to stopping and opening our minds to new possibilities. When you think you know everything, you are burying yourself and your business in a deep dark hole. The key to business growth is to always be on the lookout for that “flash of lightning”.
To find that flash, be open to what others have to say. Listen to a stranger that wants to tell you something about their products or services. Perhaps the message will come from a book, or an industry publication. A new firm may be moving into your community that needs your services.
The key tools in this challenge are:
- An open mind.
- Open eyes.
- A willingness to learn.
- A willingness to take a risk.
- A belief that something awesome will happen in your life in the next 30 days.
“Before everything else, getting ready is the key to success.” -Henry Ford
Your challenge today is to get ready to discover your next great opportunity.
